Value for a 68 convertible
I need some help from you C3 guys, I ran into a guy at a local car show last night with a 68 red convertible. The car has 56,750 miles on the odometer, 327/350 hp, 4speed car. It has the hard top with it also. The interesting thing about the car is that it has original paint/interior/driveline, a nice unrestored survivor. It still has the smog pump also. He bought the car from the original owner & has all the paperwork with it...protecto plate, window sticker sales receipts etc. The interior is pretty much flawless, the paint has some spider web cracking in a few small spots & the paint has rubbed off in spots inside the door jambs. Overall, a very nice car. He has put a new tank in, fuel lines, brake lines & calipers/drums ?....Question is...what is this car worth in your opinion? He is asking 45k thanks for the help

I thought that the price was high also, he had the car at the Friday night car cruise at Mineral Beach

i have the same car. My appraiser said $27k For a good example. I would say low $30s for excellent
