I have a 68 c3. I fixed the ac line then the compressor blew shortly after it was charged. So now I have replaced the compressor and the drier, I had the system open at both places. I install 8oz of pag oil and two cans of r134. It started to cool but then went warm so I add more coolant. Do I have too much in there? I also released air from the high pressure hopefully bleeding the lines of any air. Still nothing. And thoughts

Did you pull vacuum on the system before you charged it? If the system was open, that is required. You can't chase air out of it with refrigerant.

Without pulling vacuum and without having the right equipment take it to an AC specialist !!
