Fuel gauge issue..
Hi all,
Fuel gauge connected up.. reads to right pin.. if I understand right, this means no signal from sender?
Tried to clean sender terminals.. earth fine, the other is properly siezed on.. couldn't pull it off and when I tried to twist, it started unscrewing and weeping fuel!!
Questions.
A) how should the sender terminals come off? Don't want to brute force the wrong way and break it.
B) am I right that if I get it off, and earth it... The fuel gauge should go to empty? If not, the wires are broken.. and if so, it's probably the sender at fault?
Many thanks for thoughts!

both terminals push on no twisting. A pegged needle as far as the sender goes says it has a bad ground.
