Default 100.000 miles

Well the day came for 69 to have driven 100.000 miles.
So now I have a "new" car, with only 1 mile on the speedo:- )

Very cool and I like the the work smock or overalls!
I have to ask the op if the speed warning speedo works and if it does, for sure you don't keep it
under 35 MPH all the time..........

YES I like it too !!
Regarding the speed warning, no it make no sound, I would like it did, but no.

I also have a 69 Coupe (the picture is my 69 convertible)it also have speed warning, I hope it works in that car, when I get it on the road in a few years from now.

That work shirt is rad. Where did you get it if they never got back to you? Came with the car when you got it? That's the new standard of "extra parts and documentation" that come with the car

I think the 2 coolest options on the 69' was that speed warning speedo and the side exhaust!
I am putting the original type side exhaust on my 69' (even though it was not originally equipped that way) during the
restoration. I just hope I am not too old to enjoy it by the time it is finished!
Ha Ha.....

Back in the 70's a car was considered worn out if it had 100,000 on it.

My 69 Coupe will also get 1969 factory side pipes, I bought a used set 5-6 years ago, so I have them in "stock" ready to bolt on :- )

Very true. It's amazing what some TLC can do for a car that "normally" should have gone to the salvage yard decades ago.
