Default Brake bleeding

I have a 1975 Corvette the front calipers each has one bleeder valve, the back calipers has two bleeders why is there two bleeding valves? Does it make a difference which one you bleed first?
Thanks,
haybail

Always bleed the bleeder closest to the inlet first. If your calipers have bleeder on both sides of the disc, do the inside ones first. That means passenger rear inside first, then outside, then driver rear inside, etc.

For rear calipers, each half of the caliper has to be bled. Bleed the inner half first, then the outer.

Haybail, this is one of the most common threads here on the board. C3 brake bleeding is a miserable experience at best. Read up on it, do some searching here and figure out how you are going to tackle the issue. This can be a very frustrating experience for eve seasoned mechanics. Research and preparation will be your friend.

For me, brake overhaul/bleeding was easy in comparison to trailing arm bushing replacement which is a real pita!
