Should I walk?
But yes as a few said above, I would bargain for a better price with said "issues"!

The underhood stuff should be pretty straightforward. The engine compartment wiring isn’t that expensive and isn’t that hard to replace. The concern is the under the dash stuff. Does every gauge and electric accessory function (besides the radio)? The behind the dash wiring is more expensive and much harder to replace. Might factor the cost to replace wiring into your decision. Having a cool Vette is much less cool if you can’t drive it reliably.
I see missing AC components, a rigged up cruise control and a “show car” that’s been left to the elements for awhile. I think you will be spending some change to get this one reliable. Only you can decide if you want to spend $$$ on this car. Think of how much you would have in it and what you could get for that money, instead.

So I decided to walk on this one, despite all of the positives the car's electrical issue was caused by some bubba wiring. The wiring operated an actuator that opens the passenger door latch due to a shaved door handle. So I spoke with the guy and he told me some wiring was rigged to make this happen, the end result being that if you tried to open or close a window a fuse would blow that took out the charging system. His solution was to put a bigger fuse in the slot and only operate one window at a time. Long story short back to the drawing board for me and hopefully no issues getting my deposit back.
thanks for all of your thoughts on this
