Default 74 courtesy light passenger side

can any one show me where the wire should be coming from when connecting to the door switch for the passenger side courtesy light in a 74 convertible closest to your feet?

Door light switch on the A pillar will have a black wire and a white wire. Black wire will run through to the same ground on the harmonica connector at the steering column as the key warning buzzer. White wire will T off to several locations, Passenger side courtesy light, driver's side courtesy light, rear storage compartment light, headlamp switch, driver's door light switch.
If your car is equipped with factory alarm the B pillar switch will have three wires, Black, White and Light Blue. Black will T off to a common ground. White will T off to Hood anti theft switch, anti theft flasher and driver's door B pillar switch. Light Blue wire will T off to Door Ajar light on dash and driver's door ajar switch on B pillar.
If these wires have become disconnected/lost you can usually find the A pillar wires pretty easily by removing the kick panel. If the B pillar wires have become disconnected you can use a coat hanger with a very small hook bent on the end to fish them back out. I have done this many times. Both systems are quite basic and very easy to get functioning again.
