Default an additional C3 console cover plate?
I believe I once saw (here) an additional trim piece that would cover the exposed wires in the photo. I tried Corvette America to see if they had anything but came up short. Hopefully one of you knows what I am talking about.

This piece? Says only convertibles with AC. Odd.

Must be something very visible in those cars. I think there's a strut brace around there. In any event mine is a 69 coupe.
