Lites

My lites pop up when I start my 79 L82 they are not illuminated until I pull the lite switch to the on setting. The car has never done this before.if I want them down I do it manually under the car.why are they popping up when I start my car??

Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere. Check your actuators and hoses, maybe a hose has fallen off somewhere..

Did the manual override switch get pulled? On a bracket lower left side near steering column.

That did the trick.one lite is working as it should,up with lite switch on down when off.just need to get other one working. BIG help thku
