Default Found a Hardtop

Very happy and fortunate that I found a hardtop....It came from a 68, and have to get some hardware. Totally changes its personality....

You are right it makes them look like a different car. I have a black vinyl top for my 72 Steel cities Gray car.

I have a red painted hardtop sitting in my living room, waiting for me to get it repainted LeMans blue so I can install it on my '69. I'm really liking the look of the black vinyl though. Might have to rethink my plans!

watch your head, they like to let you know they're there. I'm in the middle of rebuilding my 68 top. It is like having a different car. Make sthe cold fall drives more enjoyable

Same here. Can't decide. Quotes I got - $500 to paint / $500- $600 to wrap.

Love my hard top. It's my favorite C3 look over Coupe, Soft top up or down. I do drive my car year round and it a makes it much nicer on those cold days.

Thanks for all the comments. I know I'm going to really enjoy the hardtop especially this fall. As mentioned, it didn't come with any hardware, so after the long weekend I need to get going on that. I need to get the hold down bolts. The center bolt and bracket are missing on a 68, so I need to get that. I'm hoping the bracket can bolt to the top. The latches are different, but I believe I can just get the different screw in to latch down for all three. For the rear should I got with pins or the bolts? I'll take some pictures during this journey....
