Just installed "Tanks" fuel injection tank with inboard fuel pump and baffles. I had to modify the stainless straps but was an easy install. Also, installed the Corvette combination fuel pressure/return/filter devise on top of rear frame rail.....location will be allow easy access in case of issues!

Default 69 Corvette Restomod Update

I can't believe it's been over 2 years since I've updated this thread! I have been working on my 62 Vette Restomod project instead the 69! But with the stay at home virus situation I have got back on the 69. Here's few of the items completed recently:
* Installed the LS3 wiring harness/ECU and I'm about 95% complete installing the American Autowire 20 wiring system
* The fuel / cooling / exhaust systems are all complete
* Installed a new Optima battery in storage box behind the passenger seat / added 0/1 battery size cables / battery shut off switch that can be reached from driver's seat
* Been working mostly on the interior recently.....added matching leather inserts to the door panels / console, added LED USB charging ports to the console, installed back up camera / obstacle sensors / installed custom speakers in rear compartment area and kick panels.
* Installed Dakota Digital VHX blue gauges in dash pod

I hope to finish up all the electrical in next week or so then move the car to my lift and pull trans to install the Modern Driveline throw out bearing and install their hyd clutch. Then it's time to turn the key and hopefully start up the LS3 500 HP engine.

Note....THIS HI END 69 RESTOMOD WILL BE "FOR SALE" ONCE I SORT EVERYTHING OUT! I ordered a new C8 and need to offset some of the cost with the sale of this 69. So if any members are interested let me know!!! I haven't decided on a price yet as I need to drive it first and evaluate the performance of the car. Here's a few pictures on my recent progress:

It's so beautiful I couldn't imagine finishing it and selling it (unless it was to make room for a C8, I guess).

The virus situation allowed me to get back to my LS2 project. Got it running after figuring out that my starter had a loose connection and the problem wasn't in the wiring harness. Now I am trying to figure out the gauges. Looking forward to pics and details from the American Autowire 20 wiring system install. I have a 1980 with a decent wiring harness so I'm trying to use it and figure out what I need and what I can eliminate. But your recent updates are providing inspiration.

Keep up the great work,
Mike
