That is what i did when put my dash back together, used jb weld. It worked great.
we use PIG PUTTY. its a 2 part and it gets hard hard hard, and will about stick too anything.. it will set up in about 5 mins or so...way better then JB weld..JMO..troy
I have used BOTH methods above combined. The PIG Putty does get hard, that is true and you will need to drill it. But I've used the body clips noted above to create a broader surface area which seems to work out well. -BiLLy
Which Pig Putty part number is the 2 part? I went looking for it and now I'm confused as to which one to get.

The "Pig Putty" is a two part putty with the catalyst / activator in the middle. (See image below). When you knead it, it gets warm in your hands and you have about 20 minutes of working time and in about an hour, you can drill it, tap it, or do whatever you want. It doesn't appear Amazon has small quantities to purchase of this. I found a similar product at Wal-Mart in a single stick for under $5. It is called Blue Magic 16002TRI 2 oz. Metal Epoxy Putty, Gray
Using the putty with the body clips should give you a suitable repair. It's exactly what I did for my console repair.
