Yep! Closer examination of the ZB label indicates these were intended for dual use as they include tune-up specs for CCS-EGR and AIR-EGR. The CCS is for the Controlled Combustion System that included the EGR introduced for the first time in 73. They may very well be why the original writers of the 2nd edition assumed all 74s had AIR. Thanks for confirming and sharing your observations of 45 years with the 74.

Yep, that's the one. Very original and very early 74. It was at the Keystone Corvettes from Mt. Union, Pa. spot in the Corral section.

Tom, I'm not that old plus I did not get it when I was 12yrs old. I've had it 29yrs and I'm 57yrs old now.

Did the JG for '73/'74 ever have info about some '74s having the heavy duty "cap" rear end yokes instead of the "u-bolt" strap type? My car has the cap style like a big block and when I had it Bowtie'd in 2000 @ Bowling Green, KY the chassis team were scratching their heads over it. They asked me if I had replaced the differential and said "No, the car had 26K miles on it when I bought it in 1989."
