Looked fun in pictures,
This was before net but i hunted and hunted old school ways and found one in a field,
"Goofy" would have been better, for a car that looked okay in pics in person it was so darn butt fugly to me, that i actually would have been embarrassed to drive it,
I think this scorpion is that way in person.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
our first, and our last were the only fiberglass ones.
Our first we called, oddly enough, "The poor man`s Vette"....
never dreaming that we`d actually HAVE a real Corvette one day!

i knew a guy who did super well auto crossing one in the 80s
Many or most vw kit cars used donor windshields from other cars,
In their era's cheap,
Now for example an aztec 7 uses a lambo miura screen about 4500.00 last i looked making an old aztec 7 with broken glass about worthless,
But just as bad or worse the ones like mantas, sterlings, cimbrias, and the bradleys 1 and 2 use unique to them glass which wasnt made in mast and hasnt been made in about 30 plus years,
The aquila comes to mind, they only made a few of these,
Vw pan, drive train,
But like with pretty much all vw based kits its a cartoon character of the real deal and wasnt supposed to be a copy of any one car.
Marauder cars made several high end gts and and their version of the pantera, it was more race looking, full frame zf transaxle, and i say this as a pantera fan it was stunning,
Marauder cars were always rare and well made so much so some examples fetch as much as a real version if you can find one.
I still get emails weekly asking about kit cars and try to help but I left kit cars to do just corvettes,
However, i really like the a dick dean shala vette, you might recall one in the first death race movie, so many people thought that was a real vette in the movie.
Priced right i might grab one someday.
