fuel gauge resistor

HI, does the fuel gauge resistor have anything to do with the operation of the seat belt warning module on 69 Corvettes, my warning light does stopped working suddenly and it's not the bulbs, so just wondering if I have a blown resistor or a bad module.

As far as I know the bulb lights up when you start the car and turns off when you push the button. No module or fuel gauge resistor involved. Do you have power going to the switch?

The fuel gauge had nothing to do with the seat belt module aside from supplying power to it... The ground was picked up when you mounted it. So when the car is turned on, the power wire to the fuel gauge powered up... and supplied power to the module, that's it.

Here is how the module worked.
