Default 18" wheels on a C3

I know this subject has been beatin to death but I need some help from those in the know...I have read pretty much all of the 40+ pages of the 18" C3 wheel thread...so I had decided on the torque thrust 2 wheel in chrome 18x8 4'' backspace for the front...ordered those and they came in 4.5" backspace...called back and found they don't come in 4" backspace..so now I'm puzzled...I seen may posts with folks running these but I can't seem to find any...have they quit making them or am I missing something. Would like to run an 18 x 8 on the front and maybe something a little wider on the rear but without doing modifications. any help would be appreciated...

You need to order custom 2 pc wheels in -12MM offset.

I prefer to us bs rather than offset. 18" wheels in the rear will allow increased bs over the stock 4" bs without any modifications up to a certain point. I have 18x9.5 bs 5.25 on my rear. It was a toss up if I should relocate the pb bracket as it was so close. To be safe, I relocated the pb bracket which is not that big of a deal. So, a bs of 4.75" in the rear is probably a safe bet and no mods required. 5" bs may not cause issues either. My rears are pretty much flush with the fender lip and 275/40 tires mounted. Once you get wider than 9.5 with a 5.25 bs, the wheel will start to stick out from the fender lip. As an example, if you ran an 18x10.5 with a 5.25" bs, the wheel will stick out past the fender 1" or if you ran an 18x9.5 with a 4" bs, the wheel will stick out past the fender 1.25".
