Default 73 radiator removal

So how does the shroud come out, the upper control arms are not letting it come out, it is a one piece . Book says to take bolts out of top and on bottom and lift up and lay it back on the fan and pull the radiator out.

.....it's been years since I've done a few('68, '75 & '80), but I always found it easier to pull the condenser(if you have A/C), core support & radiator as a unit. I think it was best and maybe easiest to remove the fan to keep from damaging the radiator while lifting it out. I believe the core support only has 3 or 4 bolt on each side and if yours is getting rusty along the bottom, now is the time to do it too.

That is going to be the easiest way to remove the radiator. The two studs at the bottom of the shroud are very hard to remove or replace on the surround in place.

One piece is the way I did my 73.
