I'm normally inclined to agree that form follows function, but not in this case, and certainly not on this car. I can get the "radio" from an app on my phone, or from an Amazon Echo, including actual radio stations with lots of commercials, and not need a radio antenna, or even a radio, just a bluetooth amplifier hidden in the back. Usually I just listen to the sweet Chevy V8 music.

And if a person doesnt want an antenna thats cool i dont use mine i listen to mp3s but at least dont band aid it, fill dont plug the antenna hole otherwise....um whats the forums term for hack jodded, half assed??? Oh yeah...bubba...
I've decided to keep the power antenna mounted on the car. I'm just going to disconnect the relay so it doesn't raise. I can't get past the look of the rubber plug in the quarter panel.
I'm still planning on using the cheesy looking hidden antenna posted above for FM reception.
