Difference between 72 and 73 frame?

My guess is there may be a hole or 2 on each frame horn in a different location due to the different frame extension.
I know I had to drill holes in the 72 frame extensions to line them up on a 75 frame.
Guess you could drill out new holes in the frame and weld others shut so it's not noticeable.
The radiator shroud bracket bolt holes may need drilled in a 73 frame for it to work on a 72.

The frame dimensionally is the same, the front extension horns are slightly different. If you are willing to open up some holes you can get a 72 frame to work fine on a 73 and without much work. If you remove the rear bumper brackets from a 74 frame you can get it to work for the 73 as well. Going out beyond 74 gets much more involved.
