Yes, another trailing arm question........Trying to get advice on installing trailing arm bolts since I don't have 9 inch double jointed fingers to reach around brake and fuel lines. Thank you
Make a "fish" line using dental floss or fish line- pass it through the frame from the outside, tie to bolt, have help to support the arm or make a cradle, pull the line and bolt through the hole. Long needle nose also helps.

I just did this and pushing dental floss thru the frame and TA bushing is not easy. I used bell wire. After pushing thru, I stripped about 2" from each wire and fed each wire thru each side of cotter pin hole and twisted together. I then just pulled it thru - easy peasy.
First I tried forceps etc to hold the bolt partly in with limited success
Then tried fishing the string through the frame & T/A
I used a long piece of string, passed it through the bolt, then through the inside of the frame, out and through the trailing arm, back in and through the outside of the frame and then let it hang With everything still out it's easy to feed the string
Then lifted the T/A into the pocket and pulled the slack out of the string pulling the bolt up and into the hole

It took me 2 min. w/long nose pliers. The trick is to pull TA to the outside of pocket so the bolt goes in about 1" ,then push arm back over bolt. Then it pushes right thru!
