No. The wiring is part of the dash harness and passes through the firewall grommet along with the tach cable and oil pressure line. In my 68 AIM it is sheet C3, page H289, UPC 12.

thanks...I found it finally...someone had cut the wires and taped over it....I traced the small pink wire from the turn signal flasher and found the small pink wire and the green wire were cut and taped over.....same thing on the heater resistor...it was cut tooo

Glad you found it. The PO of my 68 convertible cut the dash harness a few inches from the fuse block so I had to replace the dash harness. The good thing is it wasn’t horrible to install.
