In the apt parking lot he pulled and lifted the body of his wifes 73 just enough to change the bushings,
would haul all his tools in and out to work on it.

take your time, work slowly and give yourself 5x the amount of time you imagine its going to take, it can be done but theres a zillion things that go wrong and its a lot of slowly raising one portion of the body, bracing it for safety then working on it then re attaching it. if you rush this job or fail to properly brace the body each time you replace a mount your risking crushed hands or crimpled/broken body panels/paint. note of caution here if you do have the body come down unexpectedly you can become trapped there until someone finds you.
