Nice!

I want, care if ask some questions?

Did you assemble it yourself?

Did you unpack it right on the trailer? If not how did you get the package off the trailer?

Did you need any lifting equipment? Would an engine hoist be of any assistance, could you assemble it with just an engine hoist?

Yes I assembled it myself with the help from my son( Mostly for the heavy runway lifting) . We unpacked it on the trailer and used tyres (tires ) to roll the main runway onto as it is very heavy. I made a trolley up out of a piece of plywood and some castors for one end of the runways to help move around .There is a great video on u tube on assembling the hd 9 .Had it assembled in one day and day two got it wired ,bolted down, lubed and test run. Hope this helps.

Mine was not a Bend Pak but vey similar. I brought it home on my buddy’s car trailer. I unloaded it in the street since my driveway has a good slant to it. I was able to bring everything up but the ramps by myself. The ramps I slide off the trailer onto some Dolly’s and wheeled it up. I assembled it by myself with just a floor jack. It took about 5 hours from the time I drove up until it was operating.

This was my second lift. I had a 2 post in my other house that I installed also. It would not fit in this garage so a 4 post was in. WOuld not have a garage without on now.

I've had 3 HD-9's all assembled by myself. First one was with an engine crane, floor jack, jack stands and hand tools. Took a while but very doable. I've since acquired a lift truck so the other 2 were a breeze to assemble on my own.

I did not bolt any of mine to the floor as I move them around the shop on occasion. Caster kit is very handy. I've moved the lift loaded with a CJ5 and a 46 business coupe pretty easily. My truck was too heavy, definitely do not recommend trying to move a lift with anything much over 3000#'s on it.

Thanks all, I've been kicking the idea around for a while. The weight of the parts concerned me as far as assembling it..
I'd have to make some changes to my garage door to gain height as well.

Thanks again!

Congrats on the lift! They make you wonder how you ever worked on a car without one.
A quick word of caution - always make sure you lift it high enough for the the pneumatic release To release all four posts. I have the same lift and when I first set it up I was lowering my car and thought all had released and was looking at the control when I realized something was wrong. I turned around to see one of the releases was still engaged and the other three had worked. The lift was down a good 18 inches on three of the posts and the fourth was at a pretty good angle. Scared the crap out of me. I was able to raise the lift back up so it all worked out in the end. I have sense heard from a couple other folks that had the exact same experience with this lift. I also have a Rotary lift but that has a mechanical release that is easy to tell if it has released.

Great Christmas present! I've had mine for a few years now, great investment. I also got one rolling jack which has been great until recently when the hydraulic hose blew, so I'll have to get a new hose..
