Astro Ventilation Hinge Pin
I was pleasantly surpised to find my Astro Ventilation intact and operational. Even the drain hoses are in decent shape.
(also discovered some old chalk or grease pencil numbers on the bottom of the plenum.)
However, I noticed one for the rear deck "doors" hanging a bit low. The small hinge pin is missing on that side. I tried seaching a few of our preferred vendors and did not have luck finding one.
I know it's a long shot asking if anyone has a photo of one of these or knows where I can source one?
At some some point I will probably freshen up the seals, etc., but for now, I'd just like to get it back in place so it closes correctly.
I need proper airflow through the car. My Grandma enjoys a good cigar while we drive.

Are you referring to the pin that the yellow arrow is pointing to???

I have this area out of a car and I can take a look at the door and pivot pin and see if I can see something that can help you out tomorrow.

I’m trying to think of the piece your talking about. It basically a piano hinge with a long bar going through it with little circle push on nuts (like the ones on some trim pieces) that holds it in.

You could go to any hardware store and get some round stock in the right size and fab that up. Or do you have the round bar but nothing at the ends to keep it in place?
