Can someone help me? I don't have power coming from my fuse panel to the power window circuit. Does anyone know what wire feeds the power to the fuse panel? Or does someone have knowledge related to the Power Window feed circuit?
I'm not sure what you are asking. I'm assuming you want to know which circuit in the fuse box feeds the power window circuit. Here is a fuse panel diagram for a 1980 (from Willcox), The conductor (C) is plugged underneath the fuse (#2). Check the 35A large fuse to see if you have an issue there first.
Thank you for your response. I had to buy a GM electrical diagram manual to trace down the problem. The orange ignition wire coming off the ignition switch feeds 3 circuits on the fuse panel, the electric radiator fan for L82 engines, the A/C and the power window. Continuity check of all three circuits was positive. However there was no power to the fuse panel circuit. After pulling the ignition switch plug, which is not easy to do, I checked the I3 orange feed wire to the circuit on the fuse panel. It was good. The only thing left was the ignition switch had to be bad. After pulling the ignition switch, inspection revealed that the pin that connects to the connector was bent and not going into the connector. Some relief after nailing down the problem. Went ahead and replaced the ignition switch, put everything back together. Now windows work.
