I am replacing accumulator on my 1980 and I have did everything except stand on my head to get the bottom line nut off, wont budge. Is there any orher way besides cutting , not a big deal, like to screw off if I could.
try from under the car. There is a small dust shield that is held in place by 3 or 4 bolts. Take it off and everything is right there in front of you. Then you might get the leverage you need to break it loose.

That and take the grille off of the fender. You can bring another hand in from a different direction.
The top nut is what got me. I had to fabricate a wrench to get in there.
