What are good and cheap wire routing mounts (metal mount with plastic clips)?
I'm using longtube headers and original alu. finned valve covers (77), and chrome distributor shield.
Not sure what year you have, but on my '70 I ran wires under the headers also, using the original shields that mount to the block. Works very well. They look just like the shields shown here, but I don't use the portion above the boots. I found this image online:

this is how I did mine, cut to length as well... first time going under the headers and I LOVE it
my heads are angle plug, and talk about MASSIVE amounts of room away from the primaries and NO chance of burning them this way like what CRF311 said.
