Im thinking of getting a cover for my rear window, we have a 72 coupe, so its the sugar scoop window. I have never seen one before listed with any supplier but I could be wrong in that assumption, before I organise to get one made, do any of the sponsors or veto suppliers make one.
I was just thinking of getting one made out of some insulating cloth or wetsuit material.

I've looked for that myself. I was thinking of making one from a moving blanket.
I had 71 bridgehampton blue coupe (now 71 warbonnet yellow roadster). My coupe had a pop-out rear window. I vaguely recollect that coupe had some sort of tray behind seats where the window could be stowed. I assumed it was OE but I don't know. I can't recall much more.

That's correct, my 72 has a rear tray to hold the window when not in use. I think the OP is looking for a "slip cover" to protect the window even while stored on-board in the rear tray.

yep, that’s it, just lookin for a cover of sorts. Reason being when I do store the window in the tray it rattles like it’s going to fall apart, thought having it covered would minimise the rattle while keeping it protected and also if left behind the seats it has some form of padding
FWIW
I glued a fuzzy/felt type material to the inside of the rear window tray to give a little cushioning and then added a couple of small pieces of foam (fairly soft) to the underside of the deck towards the front edge, that along with the clip in the center of the back, holds the window snug with no rattles.
I did have my brother (he's an upholsterer) sew up a bit of a bag to slip the window in but it's thin vinyl (like a tent) material with no padding (any padding and it wouldn't fit into that clip at the rear of the tray) I found that on the very odd occasion that I actually put the window in (late season cold type idea) it would be covered in dust (the joys of also leaving the roofs off 99% of the time I guess)
Anyway, any upholsterer or seamstress around should be able to stitch together a "bag" with a couple of pieces of velcro or a draw-string. if your lucky you might even find a piece of that padded felt type material that they make the heavier car covers from to make it out of

I found the opposite with my 69 although it's the same setup. My tray will rattle sometimes when it's empty but not with the window in it. I roll up a bath towel to put in when the tray is empty and when the window is in the tray I can have a shower again....
