78 Corvette Correct Front Spring Color

Default 78 Corvette Correct Front Spring Color
I am replacing my frt lower control arm bushings and while I have the springs out I was going to paint them. What is the proper color of the frt springs on a 78 Vette ?

I used Seymour ca16-48 cast blast in a rattle can . Closest to natural I could get.

I use gun blue to mimic the heat bend when manufactured and spray a satin clear to keep from rusting.
