Default Different Brand Early C3 Tail Lights?

Hey all, I'm looking for some early 68/69 Tail lights. I see many online and some of them look really bright red and translucent, and some of them look really dark red and opaque. Does anyone have experience with both and could possibly shed some insight on the quality differences between these. They look like completely different brands to me, but maybe it's just the way the pics were taken.

Thanks,
Stroke

I've got 2 from a 1971. Not sure how close a match they'll be though.

Are they brand new? I think they are mostly the same just with that annual tree trunk ring design in the lens.

I'm in the process of replacing mine with a consistent set of four. The originals are darker and the licensed GM restoration parts for my 69 are lighter and brighter but otherwise identical.

Do the lighter brighter ones look to be constructed with the same materials and in the same way?

I can only speak for the GM restoration replacement but they appear to be identical right down to the raised part number in the lens. The last two digits are 68 and the backup lenses say 69. I am going with all red 68's.
