Hello,
I have a 68 vert that needs serious cooling. Man trans. I do not mind modifying the rad support to fit the largest possible rad assembly. Def want dual fans or possibly three if an option. Two temp sensor bungs would be great as well. I am running a 420” SBC that is blown with EFI. It also injects meth during boost to cool the intake charge. I live in South Florida and want to be able to drive it in the heat and stop n go traffic. I’m also considering modifying the hood hinges to open up some room where the hood would protrude downward when open. What do you recommend? You can email me at jamess411@aol.com. Currently I am working in Afghanistan but will be home in a few weeks. My other brand x rad would not keep it cool. I’d like to get one ordered for when I return.

Thx,

Jay

There is no need to modify the core support for any car, DeWitts offers a Direct Fit conversion for almost every year Corvette, including the 68. The starting point is identifying the support that is in there NOW, and not what it was or supposed to be. The 68 had two possible supports, the smaller "pin" mount and the "u-brackets" on the four corners. If you have the pin mount, use 4139026M. You'll have to specify two temp bungs when checking out in the notes field. There is no extra charge, they just need to know. If you have the U-bracket support, use 4139066M. Both of these use the dual spal (2800 cfm) fan package.

I wouldn't wait 2-3 weeks to order as the 15% sale will be over. The sale has been extended to 2-2-19, so order it now and delay shipping until you are back.

Just received my radiator today. Black ice finish. It is beautiful. Although I have not pulled out of the box, just opened and looked in.
Thanks Tom.

The 3 calls out the standard 1" tubes and the 4 calls out the wider 1.25" tubes
