C6 Wheels Pictures.....just trying them on
I borrowed some c6 wheels my brother had on his old c5. I'm just to try them out to see if I like how they look. I figured I'd post some pictures for fun.
Mixed feelings compared to the c5z06 wheels I'm running. If I were to go this route I'd have to get some polished wheels and different front adapters. The silver wheels on the msg paint with stainless steel side pipes do nothing for me.
I have to get an alignment after putting in some new trailing arms.

I would think that polished/ chrome rims would go better with your chrome side pipes and chrome trim. I prefer the old school look and if I had flares I would have a deep dish rim. But thats what I prefer. On your car with that style wheel, I would go for the shinier rim.

Doesn't look too bad. The classic 5-spoke style usually work with the C3s
I agree that a polished wheel would suit it better (even without the side pipes)
I can accept the lack of dish on the rims (although personally I like a dish) as it gives a bit of pro-touring look is (and still works with the sides)
Personally, I think those need a little more sidewall on the tire as those almost look too thin, not that they aren't filling the wheel well. The rims seem to overwhelm the wheels
Car does have a good stance there

Im with you on that. put them back on your brothers car.I personally do not care for chrome rims on these cars but like polished aluminium and dark grey spokes.......But to each their own we make them to fit out own individuality.

OK...this is a tough one...
Ryan-
your car looks great- so it's a tough call on the wheels...really bad looking wheels- it's still be nice looking...
I do think polished wheels might look better.

I like it... even if they were black or even body color....

The c6 wheels you put on look ok, but definitely would look better if polished. I think I like your current c5z wheels better than either choice though

I've got side pipes too, rims are polished, ties everything in.

Was thinking this too, easy way to find out is some plasti dip, stuff works well and peels right off. I would go black and see, plenty of gloss coats, best you will get is a satin shine, which is usually fine for wheels. Some of the newer cars have gloss, I like both, but prefer satin.
Great looking car btw!!!

Check out OE Wheels, they have all the styles in chrome, black, and gunmetal. I did the gunmetal C7 Z06 wheels but I think the chrome ones would look good with your sidepipes. If you aren't set on having original GM wheels they can tell you which ones fit your car without adapters.

Shiny would be my vote. I don't care for all black rims. Black spokes and polished rims yes. All black no.
With the color of your car how about gray centers and polished rims? In the pics are those 19-20" rims? I would back it down to 18".
