Default 1975 Convertible door vs coupe door.

Hello, I have a 1975 Corvette Convertible and the door has some bad rust (all the way through) on the door by where the door look latches to the body. I am going to post pictures of the rust and my questions are.
1. Can that rust hole be repaired by as body shop or should I find a used door?
2. Could I use a 1975 coupe door on my convertible?
Thanks for any help as always you guys rock!

Doors are interchangable. Window glass is not. Is that a door that is original from the car? If so you have a very rusty car on your hands. The door is not the only problem.

Just for information, '75 convertible and coupe doors may be interchangeable, but they're not the same. Coupe doors don't have the guide assembly depicted in your photos, and will have to be modified if you want them to be correct. Corvette America carries the needed conversion parts, among them, #22560, #22563, #22562, #29166. I had to modify one door on my '73 to make it a convertible door.
