I've owned my '82 for a little over a year now. The previous owner let the car sit a lot (the Good Year Eagle GT II tires on it were 17 years old!). To get it back running right, I had to replace the coolant temp sensor (in front of the intake manifold) with a updated part and both TBI injectors. After doing this, the car ran a lot better. The rest was the usual stuff from it sitting (New brake hoses, new calipers. rear transmission seal, all fluids changed). I've drove it to Bowling Green (it's pilgrimage back to where she was built) and she's driven at least once or twice a week during the winter. Don't be afraid of the Crossfire cars. As long as they haven't been tampered with, they're reliable. Welcome to the forum!
