69 C3 427/390 4 speed T-top side pipes. Sitting in garage for 9 yrs. I cant believe I sat on my butt this long.
Trying to keep warm in central Pa. Just letting you know I have not given up. Did you ever try to read
a women's mind. One who is emotionally attached to a car.
So far all she has decided is we will wait till spring. She's a good friend and I don't step on toes.
I do have one question though.I saw a Gasser on line with a 427 FE. I know its and old engine.
What does the FE stand for and are there any in Corvette's?
Fred
Till spring guys thanks
That's a ford engine family. Lots of debate on what FE stands for; ford edsel, ford engine, fu#"*>g expensive...... very cool motor with a solid history. I've owned several but I wouldn't put one in a Corvette.
That's all right, my 79 is going back together at the same speed sap is right now flowing form the trees. Ford-Edsel according to Google. Forget the fix-or-repair-daily crowd, your 427 is something special.
