Default Custom Tools and Tips ?

Please post any custom tools or tips for working on C3's here.
I will start with this Tool Tip.

Silcone Stopper - Use plastic tips that come with tubes of silicone sealant that you screw on,
the tapered kind. you normally cut the end off of to use once., ...keep that tip with uncut end.
It makes a great universal size plug, perfect for plugging various size hoses and metal tubes.
fixed the grayed out, my Browser did that.

Nice tip! Cheap, simple, and a Dad Joke level pun!

I have several golf tees in my toolbox I use for plugging vacuum lines when chasing the inevitable C3 vacuum gremlins. The ability to isolate half the system makes the job much easier. YMMV

This isn't specifically Corvette related, but something I found handy in the garage. If you use cordless drills or drivers, don't through away your old batteries. Take them apart and recycle the innards. Then take the empty cases and mount them on your wall or tool board. Now you have a place to store your drills and drivers when not in use.
