Ok, certainly nothing special about turning 37; not a milestone like turning 35 or 40 but at my age at least I remembered to post on CF and that's something this year! Here's to many more birthdays!
The old girl turned 37 last Friday. She was build # 6,058 of the 25,407 Corvettes built in Bowling Green KY during the 1982 model run. Built on 2-15-1982. She still has her birth certificate (aka build sheet) attached to the top of the gas tank. The copy was provided by GM Archives. She's one of 1,667 painted this color - silver blue over dark blue and still wears her original paint.
She has about 37,000 miles of smiles on her seeing only sunny days! She was the "get-away" car at my daughter's weeding and was on display at the NCM for the 15th Anniversary "bookend" display.
Beautiful car! I wish I knew when my '82 was having its birthday. I didn't get a good enough picture of the build sheet to see the date, but I do recall seeing a month and year hand written inside the door skin. I've got a little over twice the mileage that you do though!

My '82 was built in June of 1982. The next time it's on a lift, I'll see if the build sheet is still on the tank. I've never looked for it.
