Perhaps it's been asked before but aside from the obvious larger opening and insane increase in price, what is the difference between these 2 dash bezels. Basically what keeps me from buying the stock type and cutting my own hole? I can't stomach the idea of cutting factory original parts.
I cut mine very successfully. They may say the one that’s cut out has more reinforcement, but I have not perceived a weakness in the plastic. Buy cheap and cut it.
On the 77-82 cars... just cut it yourself... there is no difference. On the 1968-1976 cars the company that cuts them also puts a finishing plate on the bezel that makes is a very nice fit and a clean looking finish. If you cut the 68-76 style bezel you'll end up with part of the O's where the *****.... will show half the O.
