Default Phantom Bulb Under My Dash

Good Morning,

I am in the process if putting a new lower left dashpad in my '69. However, as I was getting ready to put the new dashpad in, I found a socket and bulb pushed bavk in among the wiring and vacuum lines, that I can't identify. It is a type 63 bulb, with an orange wire and a white wire.

I can't find any unaccounted for places to mount the bulb. I don't want to just jam it back into the wiring and vacuum lines, as the previous owner appears to have done. I am afraid it will melt something.

I looked at my wiring diagram and was not able to identify that bulb.

Is there an underdash light that just illuminates the floor board? If so, where is the proper place to mount it?

On my 73 vert there is a bulb located in a metal bracket next to the hood release lever. Mine has two wires, plus and ground.

my 69 has one on each side that come on when the doors are open, they are courtesy lights.I believe the bracket mounts to the interior panel covering the speakers.
