Great Story!
So, this past weekend my good buddy has a class reunion, which he had invited me to. I've met some of his old buds but he wanted to introduce me to some other guys who hunt/fish, etc. Anyway, I break out my '76 and come driving up. There was probably 100 people there when we arrived, probably half of them came out to see my Corvette. Was cool... but that isn't the cool stuff yet! After we were there about an hour, here comes this BEAUTIFUL dark blue C3, turns out it is a 77. The little old lady driving this hot car was one of their teachers when they were in high school, and she bought this car new in 77 and has been driving it ever since. I heard from about 20 guys that she was the hot teacher with the hot car back in the day.... well, she and I had a good conversation about Corvettes. I told her how cool it was to meet the original owner of a mid 70's Corvette... she smiles at me and said "I'll never sell her but if I did the ad would say, driven by a little old lady schoolteacher who drove it to church on Sundays".... which she does!
I thought this was the coolest thing I've heard in a while, thought I'd post it.

My high school Spanish teacher in the late 80's drove an 82 every day, and she knew I loved Corvettes. One day she needed something out of her car that she had accidentally left in the car, so she asked me if I'd go get it, and of course I jumped at the chance. In the early 80's I had a hot science teacher who drove a 69 pace car Camaro convertible. The high school spanish teacher, not so hot, but she was very nice, and everyone liked her as a teacher.
