Post the vid when you can. The twisties are always fun. When I had my '95 C4, I'd actually 'clear' a three or four mile length first, then turn around and have at it.
We were so blessed with no traffic. I am looking forward to seeing the video myself! My son took the sd card so he can edit it for me.

Awesome photos, I'm looking forward to the video! Did you let your son drive any of it?
That's a 9 hour drive for me just to get there. I've driven to Knoxville a few times, but it's a pretty boring drive. Taking Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway would be the way to do it, but that might be too much of a good thing.

Thank you!
Sadly for my son I did all the driving.
Blue Ridge Parkway is on my to do list with the car and my wife, I will probably do Vintage Air next winter, that’s the only way I would be able to convince her to do a long trip at least in the warm months.
Have a great trip! I've ridden the Tail on motorcycle (Harley Road Glide) a couple of times, most recently last year. I hope your weather is as clear and dry as what we had. Also, not sure how much time you have, but I think you will enjoy driving other roads around there even more. Try and get out on the Cherohala Skyway and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Have fun! Looking forward to seeing your pics and videos.
And, BTW, In case you didn't know, there are professional photographers positioned along the Tail snapping pics, so mark down your start time so you can visit their sites and find them more easily.
Thanks for the heads up on the photographers, I ordered photos this morning, will post them up when the download arrives.

Thanks, I had some scrap material, I have made a bunch of abs items over the years, especially for marine applications. I buy abs from Amazon lately because it’s easy and cheap with Prime.

Killboy has a building up there now? The photo business must have been good to him. He was the first one taking photos of drivers/riders and selling them, I bought a few from back in the day. Next time you go up you should be able to check what turn he is at online so you can be ready for him.
Enjoy those cruises with your boy! Man, what I would give to have taken trips like this with my dad or be able take him on trips today.
Me too my friend, I lost my dad back in 1990, he was 44, it sure gives a man perspective on what’s important. I am grateful for these moments.
Thank you!

No doubt a lucrative business. Speaking of Killboy photos, up next....
