I love my 78 pacecar but I'm ready to do a full build from the ground up. The first step is finding the right foundation. I'm looking for a 1969 (because I'm super picky on details, got to have 4 finned side vents but don't really want the '68 door handles)
T-top 4spd only.
I have no intentions on numbers matching (unless i could be fortunate to come across an L88 car but that's is just a dream if mine) This will be a sort of restomod more along the lines of recreating an old school road racer but still be street legal. I'm not to concerned about comfort as i plan on keeping my cozy creampuff pacecar.
Any input on where to find a repairable '69 t-top 4spd would be much appreciated. I've serched the interweb a number of times but not much is showing up. I live in southern Minnesota and am willing to travel few hundred miles if the car is relatively decent and price is reasonable.
Thanks!

Here is one in the NW corner of Wyoming, the seller, Robert is a great guy and straight shooter, I bought a 69 from him a year ago. Does need frame repair though or another 69 frame.
