Dose any one know of a replacement button for the hurst T handel shifter ? I have a vintage shift handle and the button is missing . I could not find one on the Hurst site .
what does the button do and do you have a picture of the t handle..auto, 4 speed
I was wondering the same thing. My 4-speed Hurst T-handle had no button. To get into the reverse gate, you slap the ****. I found this to be more pleasant with a ball, instead.
The only thing that I've ever seen a button on a Hurst shifter handle do, is function as an electrical switch, to activate a line lock, nitrous or whatever you'd want it to do. Hurst still sells a variety of shift ***** and handles with this button, to this day.
