My brake light burned out. I had to pry off the lens after removing the screws. Pulled the glass part of the bulb away from the body. Pulled the bottom part out by bending it into a star shape. I really would seriously consider switching to candles but it isn’t obvious to me how I’d light them from the drivers seat when slowing down.

The wicks are in there to allow the lamps to drain any water that may enter behind the lens, it's funny because in the old days (when everyone in the shop smoked).. PUKE... We'd save the butts to make the wicks and they make awesome touch up brushes if cut on an angel. lol
