Default Door lock on ‘77

Doors unlock with key but very hard to turn and afraid I will end up breaking key off in lock. Please help!

Refurbish it...remove the door panel, remove the barrel, inspect for issues, clean, grease and put it acl together.
One thing I’ve found in my ‘77 refurbish project it take a bit of extra time+effort and you’ll be rewarded!

If you open it up to clean it up you might just clean up the window crank mechanism and door handle mechanisms too. You will be within inches of one another on those so might as well get them all. You will be amazed how nice they work and will wonder why you didn't do this earlier. Pain in the butt, yes, but worth it.

I agree the interior door parts become petrified grease and need attention and a little cleaning does wonders
