A Pillar run off
I'm working on my dads 70 vet. where the windshield and the the fender all come together there is a hole from the factory. When water runs down the windshield trim it runs into this channel and hole. then it willrun down the inside of the A pillar into the floor boards. is there a caulk that seals this hole?

Clean perimeter of hole with acetone, lacquer thinner, etc. Cut a piece of screen to cover the hole. Run a bead of silicone around perimeter. Mash the screen into the silicon. Let dry. Spread more silicon on top of screen and mash it partly thru the screen. Making a complete silicon blanket for the hole. Bubbaesque, but cheap, quick and removable when you decide to do bird cage work.
