Default First cruise without T-Tops

The weather here was perfect today, so I decided to pull the t-tops and rear window and go for a drive.
Not a big deal to some seasoned C3 owners, but this was a first for me.
Wow, it is awesome! I'm looking forward to many a summer's night drive doing the same.

Guess I need to give this a try. I've owned my 69 for 2 years, never taken the tops off or the back window out.

I highly recommend it! It takes two minutes to totally change the feel of your ride! I love it.

Beautiful car !!
When I had my '72, I liked driving with the T-Tops in, the windows down and the Rear Window out.

Not only do I agree..just a great 'almost motorcycle drive', but I ALSO have a 69 Convertible, to which I REMOVED the convertible top.
I am lucky to live where I live.

The 82 CE has the Bronze Glass T-tops and the easy luggage space of the Hatch....frequent flyer. Even when they're on...its pretty nice owning a 'glass cockpit'.

When I was in VT....I pop off the tops and CRANK the heater on full....just because winters were so long.

Great looking Car... I could tell it was the SW because the Palo Verdes are in Bloom!

fastimes, I discovered the joy of top off and rear window out a few weeks ago myself. Your C3 is lookin’ good! As MCMLXI mentioned above cruising with the back window out is great too with the windows down and tops on. (Skin cancer I’m dealing with keeps my tops on more than off, but early morning and evenings are great.) Enjoy your beautiful C3!

Cruised home topless with the rear window out, 03/10/19.

I wish the back window came out on my 76! I might have to look into the conversion.

Isn't it awesome?!! You're smart about staying "sun-safe". I will keep a hat and sunscreen handy, especially with this Las Vegas Valley sun. I'll also limit the experience to mornings and evenings.
Be well, and enjoy the open air ride!
