door weatherstrip question
Did the factory use butyl rubber to hold the weatherstrip on the doors? On my 79 I just pulled the old weatherstrip off and there's butyl on the front edge of hte door, up top where the screws go to attach it. Most of the weatherstrip just practically fell off. Definitely time for replacement! Oh, and yes, i got Corvette Rubber brand weatherstrips.
