THERMAC sensor
My 82 seems to have a bad THERMAC sensor. When the engine is running, the valve on the snorkel is always closed no matter how hot the engine is. It opens back up once the engine is off and no more vacuum. Per the shop manual it tells me to replace the THERMAC temperature sensor that's in the air cleaner. The problem is I can't find one. Any ideas where I can find one? Besides replacing it, any ideas on how to fix it? I tried cleaning it with throttle body clear. It looks cleaner but still doesn't work.
