Default Brake issue

Looking for suggestions. 1974 Vette, 350 automatic.
Brake pedal is firm when engine is off. Once I crank it, brake pedal goes all the way to the floor.

Replaced vacuum line.

Does this sound like a booster issue ?

Thanks for advice.

Its supposed to move down when the engine vacuum is apllied but not to the floor. Have you bled the system. Is the master new and didn't get bled?

Be very careful....I damaged the front bumper area of my project car because of the same symptoms....good thing it happened in my driveway when the brakes completely failed....(no E-brake connected yet).

Thanks for the suggestions. Next step is to bleed the system. Will replace the master cylinder too if necessary. I just didn’t want to replace the booster if I didn’t need to. I appreciate the shared expertise.
